Wimbledon Wishes
Description
Inspired by the greatest grand slam tennis tournament in the world where every player dreams of holding the trophy. This bracelet was created to show you wish for your favourite player to win with the purple and green of the tournament and the silver from which each of the trophies are made.
Just like my earlier experience of half persian 4 in 1 this is also a tricky weave to start. Until about ten rings have been woven into the design you are easily able to lose your place often meaning starting again. I really wish that I'd known the trick that I do now for a really simple and reliable start to half persian.

Misty Morning
Description
The Half Persian 3 in 1 is a similarly awkward weave to start as the 4 in 1 one slip and it takes an age to sort out the rings and get back on track. That is until you learn the trick. This weave produces a V shape so it can be worn either way up to show a slightly different look.
Giving an overal paler look that my Early Sunrise bracelet it so reminded me of those misty mornings before the sun breaks through and from that inspiration arose the name.

Early Sunrise
Description
This was one of my first bracelets made using half persian 4 in 1 weave. I really enjoy both creating this weave and how it looks. This weave though can be very challenging to start. At the start of any weave there is a period when the chain is unstable, this means that if you for example drop it then the rings fall completely out of place and resemble a jumbled mess. It can take considerable time to sort it out and often would be quicker to dissassemble and start again. This can also happen as you close rings in the weave, very frustrating.
Experience and a sudden revellation has now taught me an easy and reliable way to start this weave which has proven to be completely frustration free and drop proof. I never looked forward to starting this weave, now its a breeze (well they are rings but you know what I mean). If you want to know the tip ask me sometime on a stream and I can show you.
The lovely pale colours used in this bracelet reminded me very much of the dawn sunlight on those few occasions when I have been up early driving somewhere and the sky has these beautiful pale blue and pink colours.

Smarties
Description
This was the second ever chainmaille item that I made. It was made as a birthday gift for my lovely wife and by this time I knew that I wanted to make more chainmaille jewellery. It was so much fun to make. I love this because of the colours used, designing how they were used took a little time as I wanted a random effect but as humans are so bad at random they are actually in a sequence but because of the way box weave is made I was able to use different sequences for the sides creating this lovel colourful look without large blocks of colour.
The name came to me because when it is layed out as you see it reminded me of taking a tube of Smarties and pouring them out from the tube in a line so you get random colours.
